12 views When I was a kid we “passed things on” and received things that others “passed on”; no money changed hands and we did not think any the less of ourselves or others because of it. Bikes, clothes, ornaments all went this way, and at the most we might give some things to be sold by the Scout or Church “jumble sale”.

Domain names are alphabetic, thus they’re easier to remember.
The Internet however, is really based on IP addresses. Every time you use a domain name, therefore, a DNS service must translate the name into the corresponding IP address...

9 views Wikipedia and so i guess other big wiki projects are up for grabs as anyone can edit them. Then this guy invented some software to scan wikipedia to read the IP address of people editing a page and cross reference this to an IP cmpany address list and biy were the results interesting.
