Fear of the Future

In northern europe as fuel bills rise to astronomical levels, the average weekly shopping trip has risen in price by around 35%, house prices fall, interest rates stay at medium high levels, we are slowly coming to understand that the time of plenty without thought or responsibility is coming to an end.

Petrol at the pump is rising at a rate that means cars will be back in the hands of the elite very shortly, and dont be fooled by the supermarket price war as in oh look ats 3p less at tesco/asda/…..fill in the blank.

“Prophetic Guide to the End Times: Facing the Future Without Fear” (Derek Prince)

Our political parties have been used to growth and plenty for the last 20- 25 years years, and now I think none of them know what to do.

Among the population there are two things going on:

1. head in the sand/business as usual

2. Abject fear that a hard time is coming (showing tent cities outside LA, as a result of the mortgage and credit crunch in the USA, on the TV news does not help.

Are these fear unfounded? I am unsure as for banks to collapse means there must be something going wrong, and this is what i sense from others. We have lived in comfort so long, what is round the corner?
