Its OK, I dont like Cats either!

I really dont like cats for a long time I thought it was because one had bitten and scratched me when i was younger. However i relaised it was because they just aren’t very likeable. They sneak around, they are sly and haughty, and they are the pets of the irresponsible.

When I think about they way dog owners are vilified if their animals defacate (thats shit to you), they are made to pick it up and clean up after their pets. Cat owners (except the few decent ones that have a disgustingly smelly tray of cat litter in their house) let the cat out…or it comes and goes as it pleases and allow it to defacate where ever it likes. This is not only unhygenic, its dangerous and unhealthy. There is some idea because they bury it that its OK, not if you like gardening its not. Although I have known cats in a garden where territory is being marked alot to just crap in the middle of the lawn.

Then its that woman thing with cats. I know recent research suggests a parasite in cats that creates a symbiotic relationship with women ( it seems as if there is no effect on men). What is it with this anthropomorphising of cats…that “look he’s saying he wants his dinner” thing. I am lucky that the vast majority of my girlfriends and partners have not really like cats either.

Cats just don’t do it for me, its partly that sly thing they have and the way they leap on people that don’t like cats or are allergic. Cat lovers find this hysterically funny, as they do when you find cat shit in your garden.
