We must be tolerant of other peoples religious views because all religions have much that is true about them, and we must combat ignorance by education; bigotry by tolerance and tyranny by teaching true liberty.

This I believe is an old text from the Freemasons that predate the Grand Lodge of England that was created in 1717.  The United Grand Lodge likes to pretend that little if nothing in the way of Freemasonry existed before 1717.  I

This ancient text  has something to speak to the condition of the world today.
