We are all reflected in each other, we all go through the same things, and our parents and our children are always important. For our children we are essential and they like us are learning to adapt to a life more complex than they ever imagined and need the framework and security we can offer. What as children we never realise is that parents need us as much as we need them.
You and I live different lives, where you and I can be: you the reader and I the writer, or you the beloved and I the lover or you the child and I the parent or you the parent and i the child, oh and it can mean more than this too. Our different lives create different reactions, our emotional reactions are related to what we think and feel, but should not be used in a hurtful or unfettered way, as parents and children we need to understand and take responsibility for our role in the family and community we all belong to.
Bringing up children is full of the two that becomes one and the one that is two, in other words there are always choices where there seems none, that things are both easy and difficult, children too take a part in teaching and bringing up parents. The phraseology i have use at the beginning of tis paragraph may seem like mumbo jumbo, but is in essence and experiment, there are just some experiences that cannot be properly explained by rational words, that need to be painted like a picture.
