so what is it about work that gets me down, the lack of freedom, the rubbish wages, my inability to get a job which gives me both responsibility and that challenges and stretches me and uses my skills, intelligence and imagination. Or am I just going through one of my irascible and irritated periods. Well you don’t have to work where I do, nor do you have to put up with the same crap.
No order, no boundaries , a lack of respect for anything except sales, no proper hierarchy or empowerment…I could go on.
I think I have made compromises along the way that have led me to this position, and of course I feel positive that I have a job, I find it easy and i get paid etc. But surely there is something better than this, something worthwhile, more meaningful, or at the very least something with greater returns or greater freedom and empowerment.
But hey whats your job like, are you happy, have a moan about it here, let off some steam.
