Your Friends
Do not keep the alabaster box of your friendship
sealed up until your friends are dead. Fill their lives
with sweetness. Speak approving, cheering words
while their ears can hear them, and while their hearts
can be thrilled and made happier. The kind of things you
mean to say when they are gone, say before they go.
~George W. Childs
Tell the people you love that it is so…
…Nothing is more important than this unless it is to go on loving inspite of everything that life will throw at you. I have had friends come and go, let them slip through my fingers, have had them die and not know how much i really cared about them because i didn’t say.
At the heart of all love is friendship, make friends with yourself and with the world, and make sure you and the world knows.
