Children Seperation and Divorce

I have often wondered how children cope with the seperation of parents especially in a world where it is so much more commonplace. Well now I get to see it first hand…

And begin to understand my own feelings about my children, you never realise what your parents have done for you, until you have a child of your own, and they too will never know what you gave for them and the pain you felt, nor will you know what pain they (your children) felt or the things they gave and gave up for you.

Ahhh coping, I feel very upset at the thought of not seeing my children on a regular basis, and that they will not have the whole family around them, that sometimes i may not be there on Christmas Morning, but i am a man and will no doubt harden my heart and keep all the balls that come over the fence which i will soon have electrified…bloody hell I nearly slipped into an oscar wilde story there…you have to be careful.
I am coping, thats enough for now. In spite of the amiability with my ex I feel now I must watch my back…which is interesting as i have had a bad back lately…hmmm I think I need to check that article on feelings and illness….as the song of the moment says “where is the love?”
