Why does MI5 use PCs and not Macs

I ask this question because some years ago the US Militiary Intelligence in the pentagon gave up using Windows NT and went over to macs because….yes you at the back there can you tell me….”becaue of better security”

In the UK TV programme “spooks” the majority of the MI5 officers we see are using Macs, so why in a recent advert for MI5 in Computer Weekly are they seeking people with PC/Windows knowledge?

Everyone knows PCs running windows are over complicated and insecure prone to hacking and viruses. By contrast, Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server are extremely secure and whilst there have been proof of possibility products made there are no known malicious viruses for Mac OS X (23/11/2005).

Surely you would expect your security services to be using Macs, well you would wouldn’t you?

UPDATE: 2 trojan style viruses exploiting security holes in the Mac OS via Safari (the Mac Browser) have been advertised this last month (february 2006), why do i always feel that Mac Users boasting about security (me) made the whole thing inevitable, a friend of mine even suggested that sales of virus checkers for mac were going down before this happened!
