My Son was called Alan Shearer and Other Insults

i was going to write a long and lenthy article about the allure of the mature and how all this being young is the only cool age has gone to far, but then lost the article, so I though I’d give a quick update, on being too hot, not earning enough money, and my son being upset by some children at school, upon which I will elaborate

When I picked him up from school, he seemed upset, I let it go but he looked very subdued, well over the course of an afternoon I weedled it out of him, (he is 9).  It seems there had been a football match and some slightly younger boys had upset him by saying he was rubbish.

Me: So did your side lose
Son: no
Me: Did you miss a tackle, do  a bad pass, miss a shot
Son: no
Me did you score (hopefully)
Son: yes
Me so your side won, you scored and these boys said you were rubbish,
Son: yes
Son: they said I was a fouler, an alan shearer
Me (trying not to laugh), do you know who alan shearer is
Son: no
Me ….explains who shearer is and how good he is and was.
Me : so do you beleive what these kids said
son: no

and so on

My son was called an alan shearer, now there is an insult, but it shows how important it is for footballers to be exemplary in their behaviour on and off the field, I am just glad he wasn’t called a Rooney.

So I wrote to Newcastle Football Club and to alan Shearer but got no reply, asking them if they would put my sons mind at rest, seeing as Shearer is one of the greatests forwards seen in England…result no answer. Me i support Chelski
