so the Cherry Blossom has come and gone, and Chelsea have gone back to losing important games, (which depresses me) and the election is almost upon us, and what a sorry lot they look.
There is not an original idea amongst them, they are all really caretakers until someone comes up with the next big idea to screw us and we all shout yipee and queue up for it like people on ebay who will pay more for something by auction than if they bought it normally!!
However I am holding out hope because it seems the stock market has a safety net, it seems these days if you made some dodgy investment there is always someone to say they were badly advised and want there money back, you can’t say that at the bookies, imagining writing to the sporting life asking for your money because one of their writers recommended betting on Three Legged Donkey in the 3.30.
Back to the election, who to vote for in my constituency, as its obvious the odious Liberal Democrats will win, they are becomeing so self righteous, Howard looks so reasonable, I keep thinking of the Not the Nine Oclock News sketch about Oswald Mosely (just after his death) when a metal band comes on and sings:
‘He was popular and handsome as Richard Burton
And I seen him down the docks once with his black shirt on’
I heard Bill Roache (he of Corrie) telling Radio Listeners this morning on 5 Live, that Howard was a family man, a kind man (yeah like Hitler liked Alsations!)
And Gordon Brown smirking at John Snow, I know they have put more money in to hospitals and schools and so on, but why oh why can you still get quicker service from the same doctor for an operation if you pay??? And why did it take 30 minutes for an ambulance to come when a friends child was in a serious condition.
Its no wonder all these independents get in, and when they do it certainly puts the willies up the traditional politcal classes (for that you can read lawyers,… why are so many politicians also lawyers)
