Don’t be afriad to be still and know yourself
Stay in Your Power and believe in yourself, easy to say and hard to do, this article is for those of us having a tough time.
It is a courageous thing to seek to know yourself, to examine what and who you are and how you feel and think, especially when this process is witnessed by someone else or even a group, but it is a scary process and you may have to face aspects of yourself you do not want to.
Many people avoid looking at themselves all their lives, theyalso avoid certain feelings and thoughts, and they may have good reason to avoid these things, many of us myself included avoid the feelings, or thoughts or bodily sensations, that we don’t care to have by doing stuff; “doing” is great avoidance therapy. This morning i cleaned the house from top to bottom, so as not to have to think or feel the fear and anxiety that I have floating around at the moment. There is no judgment here and i certainly don’t want to beat myself up because my house is clean and tidy. Sometimes, however, we need to work on our selves instead of avoiding the issue, maybe now is the time for you to get intouch with stuff and heal. There is a very good book I have been rereading lately called Care of the Soul by Thomas Moore (NOT the tudor clergyman by the way). which looks at therapy and healing in a completely different way, I thoroughly recommend it.

“Care of the Soul: How to Add Depth and Meaning to Your Everyday Life” (Thomas Moore)
Always remember you are a courageous person, a person of power and a survivor. You have most probably coped with horrendous situations in your life and now maybe have time to sit and ponder where you are and whats happened…don’t waste it, don’t give away your power. Be still and clear in your heart and mind.
You are in the right place at the right time, you are strong, there is little to fear in doing nothing, you are more than the feelings and thoughts you have, don’t fear them, own them, they are yours. The universe will support you, and everything will turn out well.
